How to cancel PlayStation Plus

Sony’s help: if PlayStation Network bills you, sign in at account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com (or the PlayStation store account pages) or on your PS console, open Account Management → Subscriptions (or Payment Management → Subscriptions), select PlayStation Plus, turn off auto-renew / Cancel, and confirm. Save the confirmation. Use the same PSN account that purchased Plus. If Apple or Google Play bills a PlayStation app subscription, cancel in that store instead—PSN settings will not stop those charges. Deleting games or signing out does not cancel Plus.

Difficulty: Online — PlayStation Network or the store that bills you. Policies change. This is the path that usually works, not a substitute for your contract or the merchant’s current account screens.

Online

01Sony-billed: on console or web → Account Management → Subscriptions → PlayStation Plus → Cancel / turn off auto-renew. Confirm and save the confirmation.
02Web path: sign in to your Sony / PlayStation account management site with the purchasing PSN account, then open Subscriptions.
03Apple billed: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PlayStation / PS Plus → Cancel Subscription.
04Google Play billed: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → cancel the PlayStation item.
05Confirm on the confirmation screen when Plus benefits end.

Fees and traps

Essential / Extra / Premium (and regional names) are different tiers—cancel the tier on your statement.
Prepaid or voucher time may continue until it expires after you disable recurring billing—check the subscription screen.
Console sharing / primary PS5 settings do not move billing control to another person’s PSN purchase.
Access usually continues until the end of the paid period. Check the confirmation—do not invent fees.
