How to cancel Paramount+

Paramount’s help: if Paramount+ bills you directly, sign in on the web or in the app, open Account → Subscription / Membership (or Manage subscription), choose Cancel, and confirm. Save the confirmation and note when access ends. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, or a cable/wireless partner is the merchant on your statement, cancel the Paramount+ (or Showtime via Paramount) channel/subscription with that partner—Paramount cannot stop those charges. Deleting the app does not cancel. Pause (where offered) is not cancel.

Difficulty: Online — cancel with whoever bills you. Policies change. This is the path that usually works, not a substitute for your contract or the merchant’s current account screens.

  1. 01Check the bank/statement merchant: Paramount, Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, or a cable/wireless brand.
  2. 02Paramount-billed: sign in at paramountplus.com (or the app) → Account → Subscription / Membership → Cancel. Confirm and save the confirmation.
  3. 03Apple billed: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel Subscription.
  4. 04Google Play billed: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel.
  5. 05Amazon, Roku, or cable/wireless: cancel the Paramount+ / Showtime channel or add-on in that partner’s subscription settings.

Fees and traps

  • Who bills you matters more than which app you watch on.
  • Showtime content sold through Paramount follows the same merchant on your statement—cancel with that merchant.
  • Pause ≠ cancel.
  • Access usually continues until the end of the paid period. Check the confirmation screen for the end date—do not invent fees.

Is Showtime the same cancel path?

If Showtime rides your Paramount+ / partner billing, cancel with the merchant on the statement for that product.

Is pause enough?

No if you want renewal to stop. Cancel to end billing.
