How to cancel Equinox

Equinox memberships are governed by the agreement you signed and by club policy. Many members must cancel in person at their home club, through a written notice path the club specifies, or via the process described in their contract—app delete and informal email alone often are not enough. Read your membership agreement for notice windows, commitment terms, and where to send notice. Ask the club for written confirmation with staff name, date, and when billing stops.   1. 01Sign in to your Equinox account (web or app) and look for Membership / Billing / Cancel controls if your market shows them.
  2. 02If online cancel is not offered, use that screen only to find home club contact details and your membership number—then follow in-person or written notice.

In person

  1. 01Go to your home club (the club on your agreement) with photo ID and your membership number if you have it.
  2. 02Ask staff to process a cancellation under your contract. Confirm notice period and last billing date.
  3. 03Get written confirmation (paper or email) with staff name, date, and when dues stop. Photograph or keep it.

By mail

  1. 01If your contract allows or requires written notice, send a cancellation letter by a trackable method (for example USPS Certified Mail with return receipt) to the address your club or agreement specifies.

Fees and traps
