How to cancel Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll’s help: if Crunchyroll bills you directly, sign in on crunchyroll.com or the app, open Account → Membership (or Manage membership / Subscription), choose Cancel, and confirm. Save the confirmation and note when access ends. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, or a carrier/partner is the merchant on your statement, cancel Crunchyroll with that partner—Crunchyroll cannot stop those charges. Funimation plans that migrated to Crunchyroll follow the same account or partner path. Deleting the app does not cancel.

Difficulty: Online — cancel with whoever bills you. Policies change. This is the path that usually works, not a substitute for your contract or the merchant’s current account screens.

  1. 01Check the bank/statement merchant: Crunchyroll, Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, or a carrier brand.
  2. 02Crunchyroll-billed: sign in at crunchyroll.com (or the app) → Account → Membership / Manage membership → Cancel. Confirm and save the confirmation.

Fees and traps

  • Who bills you matters more than which app you watch on.
  • Former Funimation billing may still show under Crunchyroll or the original partner—use the merchant on your statement.
  • Access usually continues until the end of the paid period. Check the confirmation screen for the end date.
  • Promo or gift balance can keep access running after cancel until that balance is used up.
